2023 marked the year where the people of Hong Kong could throw away the dreaded mask and breath in some fresh air. What better way to celebrate this luxury then to be a part of the re-instated Pink Walk on the Peak, hosted by the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation. This easy 3.5km route offers beautiful views of the Hong Kong skyline and were enjoyed by both 2 legged and 4 legged friends alike. Fly Pink Hong Kong were there in full force and won 2 prizes in the process: 2nd runner up Fund raising and Best dressed Large group. The tradition of hosting a merchandise table in Cathay City continued and was well supported. We also debuted some new products, including pink toys to keep things fresh and the donations rolling in. We partnered once again with Waxdash, Aitch Biltong and the Headland hotel and the Cathay Online Shop. Wax dash candles smells heavenly and made from 100% soy wax and fragrance oils that are eco friendly and non toxic. They make a great gift for yourself and your friends. Aitch Biltong is a traditional South African dried meat delicacy made with premium grass fed beef and free from preservatives, MSG’s and nitrates. The Headland hotel, situated next to Cathay City, provided our merchandise table with limited edition pink donuts, which turned out to be hugely popular. The Cathay Online shop sold pink colored items as well as Fly Pink merchandise and donated a portion of the products towards the Fly Pink Fund raising campaign.
